Counselling Overview & Eligibility

UP AYUSH Counselling is responsible for filling 85% State Quota PG (MD/MS - Ayurveda) seats in UP Government Ayurvedic Colleges and 100% PG seats in Private Ayurvedic Colleges across Uttar Pradesh.

Key Admission Rules:

  • Candidates must be registered with the Board of Ayurvedic and Unani Systems of Medicine, UP, or CCIM/NCISM.
  • Domicile of UP is required for Government seats. Private college seats are open to candidates from other states as well.
  • Physical document verification is mandatory at the designated nodal center in Lucknow.
Registration & Security Deposits:
  • Registration Fee: ₹2,000 (Non-refundable for all categories)
  • Govt PG Seats Security: ₹20,000 (Refundable after admission cycles)
  • Private PG Seats Security: ₹50,000 (Refundable after admission cycles)

UP Step-by-Step Admission Flow

Standard admission procedures verified for UP state quota admission cycles:

Step 1: Online Registration & Document Upload

Submit online registration, enter AIAPGET score details, and upload BAMS certificates.

Step 2: Physical Verification of Documents

Report to designated Nodal Centre (e.g. National Homeopathic College, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow) with original certificates for verification.

Step 3: Security Deposit Submission

Submit security money (Demand Draft or online portal payment) to unlock choice filling.

Step 4: Choice Locking & Reporting

Fill preferences for clinical/non-clinical seats, lock choices, and report to allotted college.
